I will admit in the beginning of my sustainable journey it was so overwhelming to find good sustainable brands that are based in Australia. I’ve listed 9 Aussie brands and how they’re being sustainable – a great place to start!
seed & sprout
about seed & sprout
Founded by Sophie Kovic in Bryon Bay, Australia, Seed & Spout is on a mission to “not only do less harm, but to do more good.” They offer all sorts of products from shampoo bars to glass containers to compost bins, all with a huge emphasis on being eco-friendly snd sustainable. You’ll find absolutely no plastic in any of their products.

They started with their stainless steel drinking straws, which were the first of its kind in Australia at the time, they’ve expanded and now have reusable coffee cups, smoothie cups and safety razors, to name a few. This Australian brand believe “little changes make a big difference, with our reusable solutions replacing thousands of single-use products”.

They now have over 70 sustainably and ethically produced nail polish colours.

You’ll find a range of these brands mentioned above on this online store. On a side note, Flora & Fauna are actually the first sustainable online store I discovered many years ago, and seeing them grow is truly amazing.
